Reynolds<\/a>, then this program will look quite familiar!\u00a0 In his book, &#8220;Ish&#8221;, his goal is to teach children they don&#8217;t need to worry about drawing perfectly , just something\u00a0 tree-ish, or boat-ish.\u00a0 It is a wonderful story with a great message!\u00a0 I love his illustrations as well!\u00a0\u00a0 Back to my point&#8230;Peter is also the founder of FableVision, the educational media company that created Animation-ish.\u00a0\u00a0 As you might have guessed, the program is used to easily teach children and adults to animate &#8220;ishly&#8221;.\u00a0 All the button are whimsically drawn by Peter and the program helps even the most creativity-challenged become very creative!\u00a0 Just ask my students!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-99 alignleft\" title=\"sunburnedtur1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur1.png?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"226\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur1.png 606w, https:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur1-300x226.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">For my Math For Elementary Teachers course, I always have the students write their own story problems.\u00a0\u00a0 This past year I took it one step further.\u00a0 My 13 year old son came to my classes and taught my students to use Animationish.\u00a0\u00a0 They were very impressed that a 13 year old could easily teach them how to use it!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Their project was to write a story problem, create a story board, and then animate their story using the Free trail (15 day) of Animationish. \u00a0Their projects were AMAZING!!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-100 alignleft\" title=\"sunburnedtur2\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur2.png?w=300\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"222\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur2.png 605w, https:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/sunburnedtur2-300x222.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">This is the first time in my 23 years teaching that every single student (without exception) not only did the project, but did an amazing job on it!\u00a0 Everyone actually earned 100%!\u00a0\u00a0 I got their permission to create a website to post their animations on the web.\u00a0\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.mc.maricopa.edu\/~glascoe\/MAT156\/StudentAnimationIshProjects.html\" target=\"_blank\"> Check them out! <\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">I would HIGHLY recommend downloading their free trial and playing with it &#8211; you will love it, too!\u00a0 The school my children go to has Animationish on every computer, where teachers use the program to make every subject more fun. \u00a0 Kids are animating stories they write, math problems, scenes from history, biology cycles, etc.\u00a0 The only limit is your imagination.<\/p>\n<div class=\"evernoteSiteMemory\"><a href=\"javascript:\" onclick=\"Evernote.doClip({title: 'Students Having FUN with Math!',url: 'https:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/2010\/04\/17\/students-having-fun-with-math\/',contentID: 'post-97',suggestTags: 'animation,teaching,Technology',providerName: 'Teaching Math and Music with Technology',styling: 'text' });return false\" class=\"evernoteSiteMemoryLink\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/static.evernote.com\/article-clipper.png\" class=\"evernoteSiteMemoryButton\" \/>\n\t\t\t\t<\/a>\t\t\t\t<div class=\"evernoteSiteMemoryClear\">&nbsp;<\/div>\n<\/div><!-- AddThis Advanced Settings generic via filter on the_content --><!-- AddThis Share Buttons generic via filter on the_content -->","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My great friends at FableVision Learning introduced me to the most FUN program I have ever played with:\u00a0 Animationish!
