Calculator Emulator"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I just purchased a newer version of the TI graphing calculator emulator, the <a href=\"https:\/\/education.ti.com\/en\/us\/products\/computer_software\/ti-smartview-software\/ti-smartview-ce-emulator-software-for-the-ti-84-plus-family\/tabs\/overview\" target=\"_blank\">TI SmartView CE for the TI-84 family<\/a>. \u00a0Wow, it is really nice! \u00a0It has 3 versions of the calculator: \u00a0The traditional black\/white TI-84 Plus version, \u00a0the new TI-84 Plus C, and TI-84 Plus CE, which are both in color!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/3CalculatorVersions.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2148\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2148\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/3CalculatorVersions.png\" alt=\"3CalculatorVersions\" width=\"741\" height=\"568\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/3CalculatorVersions.png 741w, well on the screen, with choices of using a light, dark or having just an outline for the calculator body style.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/3FaceplateColors.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2149\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full fact that the emulator will allow the user to make the calculator screen larger. \u00a0This helps considerably when showing the students live during a class or taking screenshots of the output.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/NormalAndLargeDisplay.png\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-2150\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-2150\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/03\/NormalAndLargeDisplay.png\" alt=\"NormalAndLargeDisplay\" width=\"943\" color, it will help students see the difference more quickly when graphing more than one graph or plot at a time. \u00a0 They have a free 90 day trial if you have not already tried out the new emulator, I would highly suggest it!<\/p>\n<p>I plan on using the new emulator to create tutorials that include the graphing calculator for <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ondemandcurriculum.com\"
