{"id":1517,"date":"2011-07-26T09:51:31","date_gmt":"2011-07-26T16:51:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/?p=1517"},"modified":"2011-07-26T09:51:31","modified_gmt":"2011-07-26T16:51:31","slug":"screencaptures-by-techsmith-for-the-ipad","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/2011\/07\/26\/screencaptures-by-techsmith-for-the-ipad\/","title":{"rendered":"Screencaptures by TechSmith for the iPad!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/tw\/app\/id442415881?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1518\" title=\"ScreenChompLogo\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/ScreenChompLogo-e1311693953619.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"420\" height=\"314\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>While reading through posts on Google+, Facebook and Twitter by my PLN, I came across this valuable new FREE app for the iPad! \u00a0 I use <a href=\"http:\/\/www.techsmith.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">TechSmith products<\/a> (Camtasia, Snagit and Jing) all the time on my laptops, but always wanted to have the same functionality for my iPad. \u00a0Not only did TechSmith follow through, but they made it FREE!<\/p>\n<p>Opening up the <a href=\"http:\/\/itunes.apple.com\/tw\/app\/id442415881?mt=8\" target=\"_blank\">ScreenChomp app<\/a>, you see a blank whiteboard.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/whiteboardAndcolors.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1519\" title=\"whiteboardAndcolors\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/whiteboardAndcolors-e1311694150754.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"385\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>They have given us 12 colors to choose from (but I would like to see a slider for SIZE of the pen at some point in the near future!), an eraser and a record button &#8211; yes ScreenChomp will record a video of you writing and speaking at the same time!<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/ShareonFacebook.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1530\" title=\"ShareonFacebook\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/ShareonFacebook-e1311698769148.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"385\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">When you save your file you have the option of saving it to the &#8220;cloud&#8221; by hitting the ScreenChomp.com button or sharing it on Facebook.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/SharingOptions.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1520\" title=\"SharingOptions\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/07\/SharingOptions-e1311694409836.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"385\" height=\"288\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>After saving your screencast, you have three options for sharing: \u00a0 You can copy the link, email it or Tweet it! \u00a0Here is a <a href=\"http:\/\/www.screenchomp.com\/t\/3v27VMco\" target=\"_blank\">link to the actual video<\/a> I just made. \u00a0 I need to find a way to embed the video without having to go through another application.
