\u00a0This means that we can finally &#8220;own&#8221; our pencasts! \u00a0 This will allow us to house them inside closed systems online or on DVD&#8217;s, rather than having to use a link to the actual pencast or embedding what looks like the pencast, while it is still housed on Livescribe&#8217;s servers. \u00a0This is HUGE!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/email.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1335\" title=\"email\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/email.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"156\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I think it is amazing that I can now directly email a student from the dot paper, as soon as I connect my pen to the computer! \u00a0No more &#8220;uploading&#8221; the file and then finding it and sending it. \u00a0 This will save a lot of time when answering student questions. \u00a0When the student opens the email, they will get an attached PDF, rather than a link to the Livescribe website. \u00a0The attached PDF will contain the entire pencast, sound and animation, with a play\/pause\/stop bar!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/googleDocs.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1336\" title=\"googleDocs\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/googleDocs.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"130\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>I also love the fact that I can directly upload a pencast PDF to GoogleDocs. \u00a0 I can share a file easily with students or colleagues using GoogleDocs! \u00a0 At my college, students have access to GoogleApps, so this will be a great new feature to use.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/evernote.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1337\" title=\"evernote\" src=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/evernote.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"144\" height=\"146\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Sending to Evernote will be fantastic as well. \u00a0I host my ideas and notes from conferences on Evernote to keep them all in one place. \u00a0 Although Livescribe was &#8220;connected&#8221; to Evernote before, the file was split into a static PDF and the sound file. \u00a0 Now, with Connect, you can send the entire pencast PDF directly to Evernote when you dock your smartpen.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.tech4mathed.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/05\/facebook.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter
